Yep, its true, I am finally back from a year long hiatus. During this time, I decided to put myself first and do what was best for me. Was it hard? Yes, I’m not going to lie. It has always been hard putting my needs before those around me. Not this time, not anymore. I’m learning my limits and I’m learning that it’s ok to say no. My husband has told me more times then I can remember that I need to sit down and pay attention to myself. So, I’m taking his advice from here on out.

I went back and forth about what to say on this first post. Should I explain? Should I give reasons why I stepped away? I talked to my good friend Brian about it and he told me I didn’t need too, and I agreed. Although at some point I will share some of the reasons why I chose to be silent for this long because I know how necessary transparency can be for the healing of one’s heart and mind.

Now that I am back, I want to share some of the changes that will take place with this platform. The focus will no longer be just about Fashion, but also Self care (mental health/fitness/inspiration), Lifestyle and Beauty. I knew this change had to take place and to be honest, I was hesitant in making the first step. But I knew my site needed to be about much more then clothes. So, introducing, Personal Bravery “The Inside Out Blog”.
