How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was great! My honey did it up on Valentine’s Day and with no help. Ladies now you know that’s a big deal. I was proud and impressed. About a week ago I had a chance to stop into Libby Boutique in downtown Cincinnati to check out her showroom of beautiful sparkly jewels. There were so many pieces that caught my eye that I could see in my jewelry collection. I decided to choose this statement necklace and earrings, two of three pieces that I picked out. The colors of the jewels in the necklace is what drew me in. I love just about anything turquoise and mint. I also love the bronze chain and backing on all of the stones on the earrings and necklace. If you are ever in Cincinnati, make sure you take the time to stop into this little quaint shop located on Main Street. I’m sure there will be something there waiting for you that you can’t live without!

I have been looking for some mom jeans for the longest and I finally found some that fit me on one of my more recent trips to the thrift store. Along with the jeans I found this men’s Bill Blass denim jacket that I thought would be perfect to wear with almost anything and definitely this denim on denim ensemble that I chose to wear today. I probably own about five denim jackets. I mean you can never have enough denim jackets right? At least that’s my thought. Along with my denim pieces, I decided to pull out my vintage Coach mini briefcase. On my thrifting and vintage shopping trips I always keep an eye out for vintage Dooney & Bourke as well as Coach as I am a collector. This briefcase is one of two that I own. The other I found in Michigan and it is olive green so I had to have this tan one. To pull everything together I thought this mustard H&M top would bring some more color to the look. Thoughts??

Today it was brutally cold! I sometimes ask myself how do bloggers do creative posts in the Winter time. I guess they manage like I do. Like they say in fashion “Beauty is pain”. Anyhow I hope you guys have a terrific week!
