The Distressed Denim Jacket

I'm so excited about today's post! I have collaborated with three other lovely bloggers to show you how you can take an old pair of jeans that you have in the back of your closet that you may not wear anymore or in my case an old denim jacket and jazz it up to make it fresh and new again (well in my eyes). I've had this jacket for forever and I thought to myself, why not distress it? Often time you see people distress jeans, but not always jackets.

Who doesn't own a jean jacket? I'm embarrassed to say that I probably own six.....don't judge!

Jacket: Thrifted/ Jeans: Thrifted/ Blouse: Thrifted/ Clutch: Thrifted/ Headwrap: RJS Fashion

This jacket was originally purchased for my husband, but I decided to keep it for myself. I didn't want to distress it to much because I knew I wanted to add some pins to jazz it up even more. And guess what? Everything came from the thrift store! It was about six dollars to do this project. You can't go wrong with that.

What do you think? If you've remixed an old piece of clothing or an accessory, comment below and share what you did.
