Eshakti Custom Dress: I really love you!

Dress: C/O Eshakti (similar hereherehere, or here)/ Purse: Vintage/ Earrings: Vintage/ Shoes: Sam Edelman (old) MUA: Jasmine Robertson

Towards the end of last year I was contacted by a customer service person from the popular online retailer  Eshakti. She was curious to know if I wanted to try one of their garments on for size. I happily obliged! I have always wanted to try a piece from the company but never took the plunge and ordered. This was the perfect opportunity to grab the dress that I had been eyeing.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Eshakti, they are an online retailer (as mentioned above) based in India that offers customizable clothing at reasonable prices. They offer clothing in sizes 0-36W, which is amazing! I love that women of all shapes and sizes can purchase clothes from their site. They ship within the US and to Canada only and shipping is fairly quick. I received my garment in about seven days. Their inventory changes rather frequently (the dress I received is no longer available) so if there is something that you like you should consider ordering it pretty quickly. The site does offer sales and coupons almost always so most likely you will be able to save on whatever you purchase.

As I mentioned before, Eshakti does offer alterations on most items on their site which is something I didn't know before. Some alterations are available for free, while most can be done for only an additional $7.50 (free on your first order). The dress that I ordered I requested a longer hem (mid calf length) so that that dress would have a more "midi" look. When ordering, I suggest that you measure yourself so that you can get the best fit when ordering. I measured my bust, right under my bust, and my waist. I didn't measure anywhere else because the garment I ordered flairs out at the bottom. If I would have ordered a sheath style, then I would have paid much more attention in making sure the fit around my bottom and legs were right, as I am shapely in those areas.

Overall I am very happy with my dress! The brocade material is heavy and very durable and worth the $168 price tag. I love the sweetheart neckline (which can been changed to something else if you like) and the cap sleeves. It also has pockets, which you guys know I love! Unfortunately this dress is no longer available :( but I have added some choices that will be similar if you would like to purchase.

In conclusion, I will definitely be ordering from Eshakti in the future as I am very pleased with the experience that I have had and the product I received! The good people at Eshakti would like you to enjoy 10% off of your purchase by using code: personalbravery. The code is good until 1/31 so get to ordering!

Sending a special thanks to Eshakti!!
