Yesterday I had a chance to experience Sugar & Spice, one of Cincinnati's top breakfast/brunch restaurants. Let me just say I now understand why it is raved about so much. I ordered one of their most popular dishes which included salmon patties, grits, and eggs over hard. My husband and I also split some of there thin short stack pancakes. I think I can go as far as to say they were the best that I have ever had. If you are ever in the Cincinnati area, make sure to swing by this tasty eatery. Since the restaurant was outfitted in such cute colors I thought it would be the perfect place to shoot a couple pics.
Now about these cool jeans I'm wearing. Aren't they so neat? If you follow me on IG you would have saw a photo of my DIY day getting these jeans made by my friend Tia. I met Tia through social media a little while back and fell in love with how creative she is. She paints, draws, makes jewelry and more. Since I myself like to dabble in a DIY project here and there, it was only right for me to reach out to her to set up a DIY day. After going through her IG trying to decide what project to work on, I chose these awesome paint splattered jeans. Since I'm all about different I knew that these would be a great addition to my closet. How do you think they turned out? So cool right! She did such a great job! I thought that they would look great with my thrifted red blazer and just a simple black tank and heels. Since the jeans are the key piece, I wanted them to stand out. Yesterday I really fell in love with my jeans and I can't wait to mix and match them with different pieces in the future.
Would you wear painted jeans?
